How can I close my account with Foundry?

We're sorry to see you go, but in order to close your account with Foundry, you will need to take the following steps as a Group owner:

  1. If applicable, adjust your Approval Threshold to 1.
    1. Navigate to "Approvals" page and  ensure "1 account owner is required to approve all changes". Else click edit beside the text and update.
  2. Deactivate all users other than your own within your Group by navigating to the User Management page.
  3. Archive all active sub-accounts within your Group.
    1. If a sub-account has a remaining balance that is above 2730 sats, it will be paid out at the end of the month. If not, please reach out to your Relationship Manager to discuss options. 
  4. Submit a ticket with support or reach out to your Relationship Manager to deactivate your user and Group.

Keep in mind:

  • When deactivating users, your user will be the final active user in the group.
  • Only sub-accounts without an outstanding balance may be archived.
